This is to send some pictures of Margaret. The ones taken in the big black hat were taken Sunday morning at Westlake Park. In the afternoon we took a trolley trip to Newport about 40 miles from here and those in the smaller hat were taken there. She seems to be very much concerned as to how you are going to like her. She doesn’t say much about the others. Perhaps she thinks you will be more particular.
She gave me a very pretty watch fob for my birthday. She is doing her best to spoil me.

MacArthur Park (originally Westlake Park) is a park dating back to the late nineteenth century in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles. In the early 1940s, it was renamed after General Douglas MacArthur, and later designated City of Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument #100.
