This is Sibyl's first letter to Alma since her marriage, so she happily signs herself as Alma's sister. And she does secretarial duty for Fred.

Dondi, Bela Vista,
June 25, 1928
My dear Alma,
I’m not sure if Fred is going to find time for a note to you today or not, but I have found a couple of pages which he started to you at various times so am sending them on, to show that he had good intentions and had wanted you to receive a birthday letter. We both thought of and spoke of you on that day.
Now Alma you may be slightly surprised to hear that it is possible that plans may be made which will enable us to leave Angola about the end of July. If you wish to send us word after receiving this would you address the letter in ℅ of my uncle, Mr. F.E. Sanders, 136 Mt. Gold Rd., Plymouth, S. Devon, England. We will receive it on arrival at Southampton.
I’m sorry that I have not time to write more details about some of the very happy times we have had recently, but I want the Moderator to take this letter with him this afternoon as he goes to the Coast and then to Canada. We expect we shall land at a Canadian port and then get into the States more easily from there. We have a nice little home here now and I’m rather sorry to have to pack up everything so soon. But I’m also very much excited about going home, and I’m looking forward to seeing you.
With many good wishes and much love,
Your sister,
Sibyl.
