June 24. I am in Harrogate for the late night with Mrs. Dodd (of Madras) on my way to London from Ripon. I am having a wonderful time: last Friday with Mrs. Leith (W.C.C. Secretary) Sat. in Reading with the Prankards. Sunday in North London [???illegible???] with MM's brother + wife + 2 younger boys; tea at the Goodyears and supper with the other brother + wife (Eliza) with the woods at the back of the house. Monday to Ripon. Professor Bower did himself proud. I was entertained in style. He is a wonderful guide - he knows every stone in Ripon cathedral and Fountains Abbey. Yesterday we went to Fountains Abbey and several other interesting places. This morn to London and a party in eve. Tomorrow for Marseilles. No time for letters.
