What interests me about all this is that Laura, unlike her four siblings, apparently kept up with the family of their father, Papa Charles.
There was additional contact with descendants of Papa Charles's family in the following document:

There was a lovely basket of flowers there, with a card listing the four of your father's family. Thank you.
Enclosed are the clippings I promised.
Rosamond I.
Darrell Stokey, wife Jo-Ann and four little boys, from New Philadelphia were there in the evening. He is William's son the son of Christopher.

Barbara's genealogy lists Catherine Stokey, 1852-1923, who married Edward F. Donze and had a son Albert E. Donze, born in 1878.
Massillon is next to Canton.

Darrell Stokey, wife Jo-Ann and four little boys, from New Philadelphia were there in the evening. He is William's son the son of Christopher.
Barbara's genealogy lists Christopher John Stokey, 1842-1907, who married Elizabeth May and had (among others) a son named William Harrison Stokey in June 1874, about a year and a half before our William Provines Stokey was born.
4.
There are two documents here, one written in Pennsylvania and one in Ohio. I chose to put this in the Ohio section in the Documents By Where They Written page. And I named this document "Notes about Laura's Funeral" even though it's really about the visiting hours. "Visiting hours" seemed too vague.
5.
I like the bookend that this event makes when paired with the letter Laura wrote to Bill's mother when Bill was born:
