[the article] DR. LAURA E., age 93, of 1307 Cherry Ave. NE, died Thursday morning in the residence of complications following an extended illness. A life resident of Canton, her parents were the late Charles and Margaret Stokey. She graduated from Old Central High School, Epworth Evangelistic Institute in St. Louis, Mo. and the American School of Osteopathy in Kirksville, Missouri, Class of 1909 with a D.O. Degree. The college is now kown as the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. Following her graduation, she returned to Canton where she practiced her profession until she retired in 1970. She was the last Charter member and former Sunday School teacher in the Second Wesleyan Methodist Church. Survivors include three nieces and two nephews. Services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Second Wesleyan Methodist Church with Rev. William L. Baker officiating. Burial will be in Warstlers Cemetery. Calling hours at the Reed Funeral Home Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 and at the church an hour before services.

4. Burial in Warstler cemetery. Find-A-Grave lists the cemetery, but I couldn't find Laura.

Old Central High School must be the high school where Papa Charles and Alma taught.
