STOKEY, Alma Gracey, Aelioian, was born in Canton, Ohio, June 17, 1877. Miss Stokey prepared for college in the Canton High School and took her Freshman work with ‘03. In 1900-’01 she was a very successful teacher in the Canton Public Schools, returning to join the Class of ‘04 as a Sophomore. She has played on the girls’ basket-ball team for four years. During the last two years Miss Stokey has been a prominent member of the Aelioian, acting as a corresponding secretary in 1903-4, and always appreciated for her witty papers. Throughout her course she has specialized in Botany and in her last year has been appointed assistant in the botanical laboratory, where she has been successful and exceedingly well liked among the students. Next year she will finish her college course, though she receives her degree with ‘04, and will continue her botanical work. After leaving college Miss Stokey expects to teach, but is uncertain about her address. Her home address is 908, 8th St., Canton, Ohio.

Aelioian. Not Aeolian. There are records here:

…so it might be possible (though I haven’t tried) to access Alma’s “witty papers”. I have no doubt that they are indeed witty.
