Margaret, in Los Angeles, is counting the days until Will arrives from San Francisco for Christmas. Probably counting the hours.

My dear Mrs Stokey,
I feel I must apologize for being so very late in answering your dear letter, it made me very happy and I intended answering right away and thanking you for the dear welcome into your family.
I am not taking Will away from you. I know I shall love you all. Will is so devoted to you all and I want this to continue always. Can you imagine how happy I am? Will will be here in four days and remain three days. Wouldn’t it be glorious if we could all be together? I hope we shall soon and become acquainted.
I am so very proud of your boy and know I have a treasure I know you will agree with me.
We are invited out to a Christmas dinner Saturday night and then Sunday night Christmas dinner here in the hotel. I am going to have a small Christmas tree and surprise Will - do you mind if I spoil your boy? I know we shall have a very happy Christmas and we will wish you were here with us. Since you are so far away I can only wish you the Merry Christmas and may I add my love.
