STUDIO TEA GIVEN BY P.-T. A. OF EVELYN JACKSON SCHOOL
A lovely affair of the past week centering on both musical and social interest was the studio tea given by the Parent-Teacher Association of the Evelyn Jackson School of Music on Friday afternoon at the Studio Arts Building, honoring Miss Jackson, Mrs. Marion Vaughan and the students who were winners in the Georgia Federation of Music Clubs contests at Gainesville.
Quantities of spring flowers were used throughout the studios.
Mrs. W.P. Stokey, president of the P.-T. A., received the guests.
Tea was poured by Mrs. Wade Boggs and Mrs. Horace Collingsworth. More than a hundred friends called during the afternoon to congratulate the honorees. The student winners are Miss Anne Morris, Miss Elizabeth Morgan, Miss Nell Thurman, Miss Kathleen Stokey, Miss Sarah Henderson, Miss Margaret Stokey, Mr. Roger Stokey, Mr. Charlie Thompson, Mr. Billy Stokey, Miss Hazel Roy Butler and Miss Mary Salome Betts.
