This is a very nice birthday letter from Eva to Kay...with a plug for Christian Science.

Dear Kathleen -
I have just finished wrapping up a book to send to you for your birthday.
I noticed that a number of the stories are taken from the Christian Science Monitor, so I thought they ought to be good.
I was much pleased to receive Margaret's nice letter telling me about her birthday, and I was delighted with the fudge she sent me. I haven't had time to write to thank her yet. Will you thank her for me and tell her I shall write her as soon as I have time.
I wonder if you will be going to spend Christmas with your grandparents and Aunt Ruthie, or will they be coming to you? I was planning to go up to spend my Christmas holidays in South Hadley. But part the time that I will be there Aunt Alma will be in Philadelphia. Isn't that funny?
I was very happy to receive the letters that you and Roger wrote to put in with the one your Mother sent me. What did you do with all your presents? Did you make peanut brittle?
Last Sunday it snowed all day and has been cold ever since so the snow has lasted. The children have had a good time with their sleds and such but I think they are the only ones who have enjoyed the snow.
I hope that you will write and tell me about your birthday and I hope it will be happy.
With a kiss for each year and a big hug to grow on
and much love to all the family
Your Aunt Eva.

I wonder if you will be going to spend Christmas with your grandparents and Aunt Ruthie, or will they be coming to you?
These would be Kathleen's parents, WJ and Annie Farmer, and her sister Ruthie, in Savannah.
I was planning to go up to spend my Christmas holidays in South Hadley. But part the time that I will be there Aunt Alma will be in Philadelphia.
I figure Alma was going to visit her friends Mabel Watson and Lily Love in Philadelphia, so I've added this letter to the Non-Family page for Mabel and Lil.
