Edinburgh Sept 13.
We are going back to London today. Yesterday we took a motor trip to Loch Lomond and thought the Loch very beautiful. We saw 6 or 7 rainbows yesterday. I got this card on the Isle of Wight. The place is decorated with shells - even the lower floor of the house. The old man who did it said it took him 10 years to do it.

The old man who did it said it took him 10 years to do it.
The man seems to have been Frederick James Attrill (1839-1926). If I'm correct on that, then he must have died shortly after Alma visited the house.
There's a newspaper item saying that Alma and Eva were going to Rome for the summer in 1926. It's not surprising that Alma chose to make a detour to Great Britain.
1926-06-14 NEWSPAPER ITEM MENTIONING ALMA AND EVA
