Kathleen's sister - Aunt Ruthie - visited their brother Cecil Farmer in Pittsburgh, and sent a postcard to each of her four nephews and nieces. This is the one she sent to Billy, who was five years old.

I thought you would like the incline. Is it as big as the one in Cincinnati? I miss you very much and you must not forget me.
Aunt Ruthie.
Aunt Ruthie.

This is one of five postcards that Ruth sent to the four little Stokeys all at once when she was visiting her and Kathleen’s brother Cecil Farmer. Apparently she wrote four of them out on September 6 but couldn’t mail them out until the 7th, and for some reason that impelled to her to write an extra one to Billy on the 7th. Maybe she had made him a promise of some sort? And since Roger was only 19 months old, his postcard was addressed to Kathleen, with a note that once Kathleen had read it, it was to go to Roger.

Monongahela Incline - Wikipedia says:
The Monongahela Incline is a funicular located near the Smithfield Street Bridge in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Designed and built by Prussian-born engineer John Endres in 1870, it is the oldest continuously operating funicular in the United States.
It is one of two surviving inclines in Pittsburgh (the other is the nearby Duquesne Incline) from the original 17 passenger-carrying inclines built there starting in the late 19th century. Its lower station is across the street from what is now the Station Square shopping complex. It is easily accessible from the light rail system at the Station Square station.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. In 1977 both inclines were designated as Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmarks by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
It looks as though the Cincinnati inclines are all gone. There was one in Mt. Auburn, but I don’t know if it was still around in 1922.
I think that five-year-old Billy must be fascinated by the Incline in Cincinnati. See his Aunt Ruthie's postcard to him the following month:
