Dr. Alma G. Stokey has returned from Canton, O., where she was called by the sudden death of her mother. Mrs. Stokey had lived for several years with Dr. Stokey in South Hadley in Faculty house.

Mama Margaret died on May 8, 1924 in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am grateful to Alma's local newspaper and to newspapers.com for reassuring me that Alma did indeed make it to her mother's funeral.
