The first of the Five Stokey Siblings has died. Alma, Fred, Laura, and Eva remain.

STOKEY - Col. William Provines Stokey passed away Dec. 17, 1950, at his home, 624 Rockmont Dr., N.E. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Albert S. Bruchas and Mrs. Ernest W. Lundine; two sons, Messrs. William F., and Roger P. Stokey, three sisters, Miss Alma G. Stokey, Dr. Laura E. Stokey and Mrs. Eva S. Evans, and a brother, Dr. Fred E. Stokey. Private memorial services will be held. Greenberg & Flinn.

Kay's surname is spelled incorrectly; it should be Lundeen. I figure that the information for the notice was given over the phone, very likely by the funeral home.

Miss Alma G. Stokey, Dr. Laura E. Stokey and Mrs. Eva S. Evans, and a brother, Dr. Fred E. Stokey.
Fred and Laura are Dr., but Alma is just Miss Alma G. Stokey. Oh, well.
3.
Private memorial services will be held.
Does this mean that Will was cremated? I don't know.

We have death notices or obituaries for four out of the five siblings. So far I don't have anything for Eva. The pages on this website are:
