The divorce case of Mama Margaret and Papa Charles has been delayed by outside factors. How frustrating!

STILL ON TRIAL
Judge McCarty is still probing into the case of the Diamond Portland Cement Co. against the Bonnot Co. trying to find out whether the plaintiff is entitled to recover that $12,000 or not. The case will probably last over Friday. The balance of this week assignment will have to wait. The divorce case of Stokey vs. Stokey was set for Thursday but has been postponed. Besides the court being busy Mr. Stokey is said to be sick in bed.

Judge McCarty is still probing into the case of the Diamond Portland Cement Co. against the Bonnot Co. trying to find out whether the plaintiff is entitled to recover that $12,000 or not.
I didn't find anything about the $12,000 case that Judge McCarty was working on. The Bonnot Company still exists, and their website says: "The Bonnot Company has been a leader in extrusion, feeding, and cutting equipment for more than 130+ years. Turn to us for all your extrusion machine and part needs." The Diamond Portland Cement Company is also in existence. But I found nothing about the case.
I have three newspaper items about the divorce:
1900-01-30 DIVORCE PETITION FOR MAMA MARGARET
1900-06-01 NEWSPAPER ITEM MENTIONING THE STOKEY DIVORCE
1900-09-11 NEWSPAPER ITEM MENTIONING THE STOKEY DIVORCE
The January article gives the full text of the divorce petition. This item, in June, says that the hearing for the divorce was postponed. The September item gives the date of a hearing for the divorce. I don't know if the September hearing was for the June hearing that was postponed, or if it was an additional one.
