REUNION IN WASHINGTON

...when Lieutenant Commander William F. Stokey and Navy Lieutenant Roger P. Stokey, both of Atlanta, came to Washington during the holidays it marked the first time in five years that they and their two sisters had been together...the two sisters are Kathleen Stokey, a member of the Associated Press staff here, and Mrs. Albert S. Bruchas (nee Margaret Stokey), of Chicago...like their brothers, Atlanta is their former home.

Ages of the Will's four children at this time:
  • Maggie: 33
  • Bill: 28
  • Kay: 27
  • Roger: 24 (almost 25)

Bill and Roger, along with Roger's wife Edith, had spent Christmas with Will and Eva in Atlanta - see:

Maggie and Kay were living together in Washington DC.  I imagine one or both of them couldn't get time off for Christmas, so Bill and Roger came to see them after the Atlanta visit.
