If, as the item says, this was the first time in five years that Maggie, Bill, Kay, and Roger had been together, then the last time they were all together must have been when their mother Kathleen died, in December 1940.

REUNION IN WASHINGTON
...when Lieutenant Commander William F. Stokey and Navy Lieutenant Roger P. Stokey, both of Atlanta, came to Washington during the holidays it marked the first time in five years that they and their two sisters had been together...the two sisters are Kathleen Stokey, a member of the Associated Press staff here, and Mrs. Albert S. Bruchas (nee Margaret Stokey), of Chicago...like their brothers, Atlanta is their former home.

Ages of the Will's four children at this time:
Maggie: 33
Bill: 28
Kay: 27
Roger: 24
It's interesting that the four siblings met in Washington DC rather than Atlanta. I know that Roger (my father) had arrived home to his wife (my mother) in Massachusetts on Thanksgiving night of 1945, out of the Navy and ready for law school. They went down to Atlanta for Christmas, and Roger showed his wife around. I don't know if anyone else was in Atlanta with Will and Eva for Christmas. Perhaps some of Roger's siblings couldn't get enough time off to go to Atlanta.
