My Uncle Bill is born!

April 19
Dear Alma,
Just a few lines to tell you the arrival of a fine boy today at 11.15. “Mother and baby doing well.” The baby weighs 8 ¾ lbs. Has some hair and looks fine.
You see I am quite nervous. I must now write to the rest of the family.
I received your letter with check. Thank you very much.
We have a fine nurse and everything seems to be all right.
With lots of love
Mother.
Margaret is at one of the neighbors so she has not been told about her little brother or she would want to come right home. She will stay all day.
