1938 DOCUMENTS: ~NOTES~---links to the documents---site navigation
- Will and Kathleen continue living in Atlanta. Roger, the last of the children, leaves for college. Will and Kathleen take care of Alma Grace, the toddler daughter of Fred and his late wife Sibyl, but it is probably in this year that Sibyl's parents come to Atlanta and take their little granddaughter back to Canada with them.
- Alma continues her life in South Hadley and Woods Hole. Fernbank is flooded in the Hurricane of 1938.
- Fred, age 59 in the Great Depression, is still unable to find a job.
- Laura continues her life in Ohio. I hope her health has improved, but I don't know.
- Eva continues teaching music in Philadelphia.
- Jessie Morrison Farmer, the wife of Kathleen's brother Cecil, dies.
