I believe this is the second letter that we have from Sibyl to Fred. Both are in Angola - she at the Chissamba missionary station, he at the Dondi missionary station. She likes him, but he's the one who kept the early letter.

Chissamba, Dec. 26/26.
Dear Dr. Stokey:-
Did you ever do anything that you didn’t want to do? I can imagine I hear your answer. It would probably be, like the majority of medical men, that you are in the habit of having others do what you want.
Well the object of this note is to ask you if you would tell me how Petulu from this station is in regard to his physical condition. His father is concerned about his condition because he has been sick so much and is now beginning to feel discouraged. He says you have been giving him medicine, and they are very thankful for it. Is there anything else he needs that I might happen to have which you would like for him? If so if you let me know by Thurs. train I’ll bring it with me on Monday and you could then give orders to someone at the station. That is if I shouldn’t forget it, in all my excitement in starting for Cuma.
As I have not received orders from you I’m trusting to you for anything which will be required down there.
I’m taking my rubber boots as you gave me good advice.
Did you have a good time yesterday? Were you hunting hipos as you did last year? That’s what you consider a good time, is it not?
We all had a very happy time up here. For awhile we played croquet and I enjoyed very much being Mr. Steed’s opponent. He has no heart at all when it comes to games, not even if one is in exact position, but I always treat him in just the same manner so we have good fun.
Well, I’ve written in great haste, and I hope I’ll receive word from you on Thursday about this young lad. I expect this week will be a very busy one, for you as it is for me. I have hundreds of things I must do before leaving, but oh, I know the saying, a man just packs up, and leaves everything whenever he wishes. A last thought - Would it be any use to take some films down with me? Could you take your apparatus for doing them also, while you wait. I’ll meet all expenses. I’ll be very pleased if you could do this.
Yours sincerely,
Sibyl Hosking.
