A nice little letter from 11-year-old Maggie to her aunt, written less than a month after Mama Margaret (Maggie's grandmother) died.

May 31, 1924.
Atlanta Ga.
Dear Aunt Eva,
Did I ever tell you I joined the Scouts? I joined them in January. The meetings are on Friday at 15 to u. I am in Troop Six.
Our cat is growing very big.
School lets out on the sixth of June. I certainly will be glad.
My white bantam hen is sitting for the second time this year. I am getting along fine in my music. I am now studying Für Elise. My music lessons are on Saturdays at half past ten to eleven. I have to practice an hour every day. I think we will come to Woods Hole this summer. I hope you will to. I want to get there in time to go to the Sience School.
With Love,
Margaret

I can't figure out the "15 to u". I'm thinking the time is a quarter to something-or-other, but I can't make a number out of the u.
Our cat is growing very big.
I'm glad that Will has a cat in the house.
I think we will come to Woods Hole this summer.
So far I have no evidence that any of the Atlanta Stokeys did come to Woods Hole in the summer of 1924, but that doesn't prove anything either way. I'm always hoping to come across something.
