The Canton Repository seems to have been the preferred newspaper of the Stokeys. This Tour includes both items from the Repository and a mention in a letter of the Repository. The newspaper still exists, and I think I could look at its archives online, but there's so much easy pickings elsewhere that I haven't gotten around to trying.
