This will be added to as I learn more.

I plan to do timelines for all 12 major characters (5 siblings, 2 parents, and 5 spouses) on this website and maybe more, and then take the important events and put them together for an overview timeline.  So far I've done Will, Alma, Fred, Laura, Eva, Mama Margaret, Papa Charles, and Margaret.

1881
  • April 22: Sarah Margaret Clarke is born in Mobile, Alabama.
1880s
  • Margaret's parents die.  Details and exact date unknown.  Margaret is raised by her aunts.
1905
  • Margaret is in Los Angeles, California.  No more aunts.  Not much money, so Margaret learns the millinery business and, at some point, becomes head designer at "The Marvel".  It is around this time that she moves into the Hotel Fremont to live.
1907
  • Margaret converts to Christian Science.  The year is an educated guess, but it did happen before 1908.
1908
  • January 1: Margaret writes out some Christian Science New Years Resolutions.
1910
  • Summer: Margaret meets Will in Los Angeles at the Hotel Fremont, and, probably in the fall, becomes engaged to him.
  • November 6: Will and Margaret take the trolley to Newport in the morning, and go to Westlake Park (later MacArthur Park) in the afternoon.
  • November 24: Will and Margaret are at Ye Alpine Tavern in Mount Lowe, California, for Thanksgiving.
  • December 12: Will is in San Francisco.
  • December 23: Will comes down to Los Angeles for 3 days.
1911
  • March 22: Margaret takes the train up to San Francisco and marries Will.  In Massachusetts, Alma holds a celebration.​
  • August: Margaret goes to Los Angeles for three weeks and to San Diego for two days.
1912
  • November 7: Margaret gives birth to a daughter, also named Margaret.
  • November 8: Margaret dies.
  • November 10: Margaret's funeral.​
