1885
  • September 13, 1885: Kathleen's older sister, Ruth Constance Farmer, is born.
1886
  • December 25, 1886: Kathleen's older brother, Arthur Cecil Farmer, called Cecil, is born.
1888
  • August 11: Kathleen Muriel Farmer is born in Wanstead, Essex, England.
1906
  • Kathleen starts at Bedford College at the University of London in England.
1907
  • This may be the year when the Farmer family converts to Christian Science.
1909
  • Fall: Kathleen gets her BA at the University of London in England.
1910
  • Spring: Kathleen and her mother and her sister Ruth move to Savannah, Georgia, joining her father, who is already there.
  • Fall: Kathleen starts teaching for a year at the Savannah-Lind Preparatory school.
1911
  • Kathleen advertises for individual students.
1912
  • August/September: Kathleen and Ruth visit their brother Cecil in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, and meet Cecil's fiancée, Jessie.
1915
  • Summer: The Farmers meet Will Stokey and Eva Evans, along with Will's daughter Margaret.
1916
  • June: Will proposes to Kathleen, they are married, and they set out in the Buick for Will's new Army assignment in Cincinnati.​
  • ​July and/or August: Alma visits Will, Kathleen, and Margaret in Cincinnati.
  • August 18: Will, Kathleen, and Maggie go to a baseball game.  Philadelphia beats Cincinnati.
  • December: Christmas in Savannah with the Farmers.
1917
  • April 19: Kathleen gives birth to Billy.  Both grandmothers are in attendance.
  • June: Kathleen's mother has gone home.  Mama Margaret is there still or again, and newly widowed Fred visits for a few days.
  • Christmas: Due to World War I, Will can't get enough leave time for Christmas in Savannah, so Will and Kathleen have Mama Margaret and all of Will's siblings to stay with them in Cincinnati.
1918
  • April: Will is assigned to San Antonio, Texas.  Kathleen follows with the kids a month or two later.​
  • Fall: Kathleen's sister Ruth comes to visit in San Antonio.
  • December 13: Kathleen gives birth to Billy.
​1919
  • June: Will is assigned back to Cincinnati Ohio.
  • September: Kathleen and Ruth take the kids to Savannah for a month or so.  Kathleen seems to be a little under the weather.
1921
  • January 27: Kathleen gives birth to Roger.
1922
  • August/September: Will is in Massachusetts on business and pleasure.  Kathleen sees her brother Cecil and his wife Jessie, but it's not clear where.
  • Christmas in Cincinnati.
1923
  • July: Will is assigned to Atlanta, Georgia.  Kathleen and the kids go to Woods Hole while Will looks for a home for them all in Atlanta.
1924
  • May: Kathleen is at home in Atlanta while Will goes to Ohio to deal with Mama Margaret's death.
1925
  • Summer: I think Kathleen goes with the kids to Woods Hole.
1926
  • Christmas: In Savannah, with Will arriving later than the rest.
1927
  • Summer in Woods Hole, with Will staying in Atlanta to work.
  • August: Kathleen goes to some Christian Science thing in Boston.
1928
  • April: Will retires.
  • December 27: Maggie gives a party for 80 people, not at the house on Eighth Street because the house isn't big enough.  So Christmas must have been in Atlanta.
1929
  • Summer: Kathleen and Roger stay in Atlanta while Will and the rest of the kids are in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
1931
  • April: Kathleen is president of the PTA for the Evelyn Jackson music school.
  • Kathleen visits Savannah for a week with Maggie, sometime in the fall.
  • December 16: Kathleen's father sends her a letter about money available.
1932
  • August: Kathleen visits Savannah with Kay and Roger.
  • Christmas in Atlanta, then Kathleen went to Savannah from December 27 until January 2.
1933
  • April: Kathleen goes to Savannah to help with her father, who is sick.  I think that from now until after his death in September, Kathleen is rarely at home in Atlanta.
1934
  • Summer: Will spends months in Texas pursuing oil riches.  Kathleen holds the fort in Atlanta.
  • After Christmas, maybe: Ruth is sick in Savannah, so Kathleen goes there to help.
1935
  • May: Maggie graduates from Agnes Scott College.
  • July 17: Ruth dies.  Kathleen's mother Annie comes to live with Atlanta Stokeys after that - no exact date.
  • October (early): The Atlanta Stokeys move from Eighth Street to 624 Rockmont Drive in Atlanta.
1936
  •  New Years Day: Kay has a party at the new house on Rockmont Drive.
  • April 22: Annie Farmer dies.
  • June: Kay graduates from high school.
1937
  • Late August: Kathleen is in Montreal, according to the paper.
1938
  • June: Roger graduates from high school
  • October 1: Kathleen's sister-in-law Jessie Morrison Farmer dies.
  • December 20: Wedding rehearsal dinner at Rockmont Drive for Kay's friend Nell Echols.
1939
  • All four children are home for Christmas.
1940
  • December 14: Kathleen dies at a private hospital in Atlanta.
