​This is a small Tour that demanded to be included.  There are no letters in this Tour, just newspaper stuff, but I like it.

I figure Alma, age 80, took the train down to Atlanta to visit Eva.  It looks as though Alma had given up having a car by this time.

Alma appears to have been away from her home in South Hadley for about a month.  That month included Eva's 73rd birthday, April 3, and also during that month Alma gave a talk to Eva's garden club.  I figure that the talk may have been deliberately scheduled to happen around the time of Eva's birthday.

During the visit, Alma and Eva also went to visit Glady Green in Miami for some unspecified period of time.  I imagine that Eva drove them down.

After Alma finished her visit to Eva, she stopped off on her way home in Charlotte, North Carolina, visiting the Hickses, who were related to her through her mother.  We know about that because of an item in a Charlotte newspaper.  Naturally that leads me to wonder: Were there any other stops that I haven't heard about?  It seems likely, because that's how Alma was.

What made this Tour worth putting together was the Atlanta Society Page writers.  Obviously Alma performed for them, and they loved it.  Alas, I haven't yet come across anything from the Miami papers, and the Charlotte newspaper item was uninspiring.  But do go and look at the Atlanta items!
