1960
  • Alma and Eva are at Fernbank for the summer.  They spend a night at Vagabond House in September when Hurrican Donna hits.

1964
  • June: Alma goes to her 60th college reunion at Oberlin, with Eva.
  • July 16: Unknown to the Stokey family, Eva's ex-husband Frank Evans dies, not quite 90 years old.
1965
  • Alma has a stroke, maybe in 1964, maybe in 1965.  Somewhere between the summer of 1964 and the summer of 1965.
1966

1968
  • March 18: Alma dies.
  • December 19: Cecil Farmer (Kathleen's older brother) dies.
​1969
  • Summer: Eva breaks her hip.  (I think it must have been 1969.  Not completely sure.)​
