MISS ALMA GRACE STOKEY, daughter of Dr. Frederick Stokey and the late Mrs. Stokey of South Hadley, Mass., arrives Saturday to spend the Easter holidays with her aunt, Mrs. Eva Stokey Evans of Highland Terrace.
Miss Stokey is a sophomore at Oberlin College. She plans to go to England for her junior year at the University of London.

Frederick...I guess the Society Editor just couldn't believe that he was named simply Fred.

April 2, the date on which this item appeared, was a Saturday, and Easter was on April 10th in 1955. I guess AG arrived on April 2nd, because if she had arrived on April 9th, she would have missed Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday.
I asked AG about the visit, but she didn't remember anything about it.
