Dr Alma Stokey, for many years head of the botany department at Mount Holyoke college and now professor-emeritus, will speak on "Reminiscences of India."
Alma's reminiscences of India are now nine years old. Perhaps, given the fierce fighting in Burma, anything remotely in the vicinity of Burma would be of interest to the Mothers' Research club. Or maybe everybody just knew that Alma gave enjoyable talks.
