150 guests! I wish I could ask Aunt Kay about this. I'm sure she could have told a good story about it.

Miss Nell Echols Plans 'Open House' For Miss Stokey
Among the affairs planned for members of the college contingent is the "open house" at which Miss Nell Echols will be hostess on Monday evening in compliment to Miss Kathleen Stokey, who has arrived from Radcliffe College in Massachusetts to spen the holidays with her parents, Colonel and Mrs. Wm. P. Stokey, on Rockmont drive. The party, which will be held at the hostess' home on Argonne avenue, will assemble 150 members of the college set between the hours of 8 and 10 o'clock.
Miss Echols, who is the lovely young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Echols, is a member of the sophomore class at Agnes Scott. She and Miss Stokey were classmates at North Avenue Presbyterian school.
The hostess will be assisted in receiving her guests by her parents. Assisting in entertaining will be Misses Betty Taylor, Beth Belser, Eugenia Bridges, Elizabeth Blackshear, Charlotte Galbraith and Nettie Lee Greer.
Misses Margaret Stokey and Marguerite Steadman will pour coffee.

1.
This is one of a series of three newspaper items about parties at Christmastime involving Kathleen and her lifelong friend Nell Echols Burks:
2.
Assisting in entertaining will be Misses Betty Taylor, Beth Belser, Eugenia Bridges, Elizabeth Blackshear, Charlotte Galbraith and Nettie Lee Greer.
I got the full names from the Atlanta Journal's society page article, where they were clearer. I used this Atlanta Constitution here because the Journal article did not tell us that Nell was "the lovely young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Echols" - a serious omission.
