Miss Stokey To Be Feted At Parties
Miss Betty Jones will be hostess at a buffet supper and dance Monday evening, December 28, in honor of Miss Kathleen Stokey, a student at Radcliff College, who is spending the holidays with her parents on Rockmont Drive.
Assisting in entertaining will be Mr. and Mrs. Harry T. Jones, parents of the hostess.
The guests will include Misses Stokey, Charlotte Selman, Frances Bone, Barbara Settle, Eugenia Bridges, Penn Hammond, Nettie Lee Greer, Marguerite Steedman, Nell Echols, Betty Jones, and Grover Fuller, Billie Myer, Joe Oliver, Curtiss Asher, Bob Harrison, Ervin Walker, Hugh Holley, Bill Wallace and George Copeland.
Miss Nell Echols will entertain at open house Wednesdy, December 30, from 8 to 10 o'clock at her home on Argonne Avenue, honoring Miss Stokey.
Assisting in entertaining will be Mr. and Mrs. John S. Echols, Misses Bryant Holsenbeck, Mary Carolyn Lee, Penn Hammond, Jean Chalmers, Margaret Stokey and Marguerite Steedman.
Sixty guests will be present.
