Dr Alma G. Stokey, head of the botany department at Mount Holyoke college will be the speaker at the open meeting of, the Ladies' Social guild of the Congregational church at the parsonage, Wednesday afternoon at 3. Dr. Stokey spent two years in India some time ago, reorganizing the botany department in a Christian college there. She has been asked to return, has arranged with her own college for a year's leave of absence and will return to India this summer.
