I imagine a lot of the women who graduated from college in 1935 were the first females in their family to get a college degree. Maggie wasn't one of them.

1.
I imagine that Maggie sent invitations to her other aunts and uncles, but the one we have is Aunt Eva's. I wonder if any of the aunts and uncles went. I sort of figure if Eva had gone, the invitation that we have might have been a little more dog-eared.
2.
8:30 P.M. PRESENTATION BY THE GLEE CLUB OF “THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE,” BY GILBERT AND SULLIVAN. (ADMISSION FIFTY CENTS.)
I wonder what the copyright status was for The Pirates in 1935. Did the Agnes Scott College Glee Club have to pay the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company to present it?
Admission 50 cents - more now than it was then.
3.
11:00 A.M. BACCALAUREATE SERMON. BY THE REV. CHARLES A. LOGAN, D.D., TOKUSHIMA, JAPAN.
Charles Alexander Logan was a Presbyterian missionary in Tokushima, so maybe he was on furlough. Tokushima is about three or four hundred miles west by southwest of Tokyo.

8:30 P.M. PRESENTATION BY THE BLACKFRIARS OF CHOEPHOROE OR “THE LIBATION BEARERS” OF AESCHYLUS TRANSLATED BY GILBERT MURRAY. (ADMISSION FIFTY CENTS.)
Maggie might have been in this. There's mention of the Blackfriars in a letter from Will:
1933-04-10 LETTER FROM WILL TO KATHLEEN
Margaret is staying at Agnes Scott to night, as the new Black Friars are putting on a show. I think there is a banquet too. Margaret is to be a taxi driver. She called up the Black and White people and they said they would let her have a suit.
