Botany Teacher at Mt. Holyoke to Give Talk Tonight
NORTHAMPTON, Nov. 18 – Miss Alma Stokey of the botany department of Mt. Holyoke College will address the first meeting of the Faculty Science Club at Smith College Thursday night at 7.30 o’clock. Miss Stokey has spent the past two years teaching at the Women’s Christian College, in Madras, India. In the interest of botany she has taken trips into India, Java, and Ceylon. Her subject will be “Some Wanderings of a Botanist in Indian and Java.”
