The Thursday club of South Amherst will meet Thursday afternoon at 3 with Mrs W. A. Sauer of East street. The guest speaker will be Dr Alma G. Stokey of the botany department of Mount Holyoke college. Dr Stokey, who has just returned from a two-year stay in India, teaching at Madras college, will tell of the country, its customs and her experiences while there.
