Alma's back in town!

Prof. Alma G. Stokey of the department of botany, Mt. Holyoke college, who has been teaching at the college for women at Madras, India, for two years, has returned to South Hadley. This institution is a sister college to Mt. Holyoke, and Miss Edith Coon of Springfield is vice-principal.

This institution is a sister college to Mt. Holyoke, and Miss Edith Coon of Springfield is vice-principal.
I looked up Edith Coon, and found her association with Mount Holyoke, but not really much about her.

I don't know exactly when Alma got back to South Hadley, but I assume that it was as late as she could make it while still being ready for the start of the fall semester.
