SOUTH HADLEY CENTER, Jan. 7 --- At First Church Sunday at 10:30 Prof. Arthur Rudman of Springfield Y.M.C.A. College will preach. Mr. Rudman is at present vice-president of the Massachusetts Christian Endeavor Union. Sunday school will be held at noon. The subject of the Y.P.S.C.E. meeting at 6:30 will be "The Most Helpful Passages in the Bible." Evening worship with address by the pastor will be at 7:30 o'clock.
The annual meeting of the church took place in Church Hall, Thursday evening. About 200 attended and 190 members responded to the rollcall. Joseph A. Skinner gave an entertaining account of his recent visit to the battlefield of France and Belgium.
Prof. Alma G. Stokey of Mt. Holyoke College, addressed the Village Improvement Association Friday evening on "The Forestry System of the United States." She showed slides furnished by the Department of Agriculture.
