I'm happily imagining the men in checkered suits coming to tell Will and the rest how wonderful Huntington and Point Pleasant are.

Officers Ready for Inspection.
For the purpose of making an inspection of Kanawha City, near here, as a site for the establishment of a divisional camp for the training of Ohio and West Virginia soldiers, a board of United States army officers, pursuant to orders from the Central Department, Chicago, is in Charleston. In the party are Colonel Carl Reichman and Major William Wallace, line officers; Major Stokey, engineering corps; Captain W. B. Borden, medical corps, and Captain Walter C. Pifer, quartermaster corps. A large delegation also came here from Huntington and another from Point Pleasant, seeking to interest the board in sites which those cities have to offer for training camps.
