Note about Alma's 4/21/1917 purchase of the Fernbank lot

Four decades after Alma bought the lot in Woods Hole, she listed the deed among her financial holdings.

Deed. Woods Hole. 21, April 1917

This note was written in 1954, but I'm putting it in 1917, as a sort of placeholder for the actual deed of ownership. It looks as though the deed was in a safe deposit box, but I'm not 100% certain that that's what Alma was saying. It would certainly make sense, however, for Alma to keep the deed in a safe deposit box.
As you can tell from the image, the note is in a spiral notebook. I may put the contents of the notebook on this website sometime, but there are lots of other things to do as well.
Will's second child Billy had been born on April 19, 1917. So, while Kathleen was pregnant with her first child, Alma was taking the first step in a plan to have a summer place where the whole Stokey family could gather together.
Alma didn't see the actual lot for another couple of months - see:
