This is one of three thank-you letters that Kathleen dutifully wrote all on the same day: one to Alma, one to Eva, and one to Mama Margaret. The ones to Eva and to Mama Margaret are quite similar, but the one to Alma is a little different - possibly because Mama Margaret and Alma would both have in South Hadley, and possibly because Alma had just been on a visit to Will and Kathleen.
The three letters are:

My dear Eva,
You must think that I have been a long while in writing to thank you for the beautiful silver which you have given us. I am glad that you are to have an opportunity of seeing it soon and I will not attempt to describe it. We like the design very much indeed and very much enjoy using the various articles. Thank you very very much for them.
When are we to have the pleasure of seeing you here. Margaret asks “Is it tomorrow Aunt Eva is coming?” You might pray that we get a maid before you come, so that things may be more in order while you are here than during Alma’s visit! but whatever happens we shall enjoy being together. Will thinks so much of his sister Eva and so do I.
On Friday we went to a Baseball game and saw Cincinnati beaten by Philadelphia. Margaret was very much interested in the catchers, whom she called the “funny men.” This morning she held a church service. It was so funny to hear her, and surprising to find how much she knows of the order of service. Silent prayer and a sing lady and hymns + so on. She is asleep now with Big Eva and Will will be home any minute now and I have still to write to Savannah so I must stop.
Thank you again ever so much for your beautiful gift to us.
Much love,
Kathleen

1.
The envelope shows that Eva was vacationing in Cape May, New Jersey, as she sometimes did after she moved to Philadelphia. Did she go there with friends? I looked online for Hotel Columbia, but didn't find anything that was certainly the place where Eva stayed.

When are we to have the pleasure of seeing you here. Margaret asks “Is it tomorrow Aunt Eva is coming?”
I don't think I've come across anything so far about a planned visit of Eva to Cincinnati.
3.
You might pray that we get a maid before you come, so that things may be more in order while you are here than during Alma’s visit!
Kathleen had already mentioned maid troubles in a previous letter to Eva, which I haven't yet uploaded.
4.
Will thinks so much of his sister Eva and so do I.
This makes me sad. Aunt Eva was not so much loved by her niece and nephews, and her great-nieces and great-nephews, in later years. That's partly her fault, but not all her fault.
5.
On Friday we went to a Baseball game and saw Cincinnati beaten by Philadelphia.
As noted in Kathleen's letter to Mama Margaret:
Baseball-reference.com reports that on August 18, 1916, the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Cincinnati Reds 3-0.
Attendance: 3,000
Venue: Redland Field
Game Duration: 1:37
Day Game, on grass
