APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY BRIDGE COMMISSION
The Beaufort-Saint Helena Bridge Commission has submitted an application for a permit to construct at Beaufort, S. C., a bridge across the Beaufort River, a navigable waterway of the United States.
In order that the Department may be fully informed as to the advisability of permitting the erection of a bridge at this point, and as to the needs of navigation with respect to a drawspan, if it be authorized, a public hearing will be held in the Commissioner's office, Beaufort County Court House, Beaufort, S. C. at 10:30 a. m. Eastern Time, on December 28, 1915.
All interested parties are requested to attend. While oral statements will be heard, in order to become a part of the record, all important data and arguments should be reduced to writing, (in triplicat if convenient), and submitted at the hearing or to this office prior thereto.
The plans submitted with the application may be seen at this office. They will als be exhibited at the hearing.
