U. S. ENGINEER LEEDS RELIEVED TEMPORARILY
Capt. W. P. Stokey of the army engineering corps arrived here from San Francisco this morning to relieve Capt. Charles T. Leeds temporarily as United States engineer in this district.
Captain Leeds is suffering from illness from overwork, and Captain Stokey will relieve him from the responsibilities of this district for a time. Captain Stokey has been here before and is somewhat familiar with the affairs of the district.
