very cold
Met Orestes at South Station at 945. Shopped + paraded Boylston St. to see horses + masters[???]. Visited lesson[???] with Frank Synes. O came to Newton to dinner. Dined in PM. Read "Flower of the Dusk" (Myrtle Reed) Poor book. Idealizes seaside.

1911
Anne[???] late. Eunice + I prepared dinner - roasted chicke + plum pudding. Lil + Mabel to dinner. Adelaide B. called. Went to hear "Prof" Herring on Christian Science. Supper after ado[???] at Russells.

Went with L + M to see Geo. Arliss in Disraeli. Fine impersonation[???]. Play good but last act flat. YWCA reception. Met Dr. + Mrs. Hervey. Talked with Mrs. Almtead [???] about the baby. At Mabel's in eve.

Arose at 10:30. Went with E.M. + Mrs. M. to concert W. E. + D. U. Read "The Turquoise Cup". Met Miss Weeks (Head of Brroks). Visited with Ethel Sturtevant.

Receptioni at YMCA. [illegible] + [illegible] building. Met Mr. + Mrs. Ohister P. Was [illegible] for Eva twice.
