MONDAY HOTTEST DAY OF YEAR SO FAR
With the humidity about 85 per cent and the temperature reaching 86 2-3 Monday was, apparently, the hottest day of the season.
On June 27 the thermometer registered 89, but as the humidity was much less than on Monday afternoon the heat of the day was not as noticeable.
Weather Observer Stokey says a measurement of the rainfall at 9 o'clock Monday night showed a fall of 1.45 inches.
