- says: She graduated from Old Central High School, Epworth Evangelistic Institute in St. Louis, Mo. and the American School of Osteopathy in Kirksville, Missouri, Class of 1909 with a D.O. Degree. So did Laura know when she first went to St. Louis that she was going to attend the institute? Maybe Eva got mixed up (which is always a plausible explanation).
The item on this page was published nearly four years later, so it surprises me to see Laura listed as a probationer. Laura had been a nurse in Canton hospital before going to St. Louis - see:
Also I think Mama Margaret mentions Laura's hospital work in a letter or two to Will that I can't exactly remember. So how much did Laura have to learn?
Also, Laura graduated from osteopath school in 1909, only two years after this. Why wasn't she there yet in 1907?
