Army Orders.
Special Dispatch to the Globe-Democrat.
WASHINGTON, April 5.---The following named officers of the corps of engineers are relieved from duty in the Philippine Islands, and will proceed with companies I and K, 3rd battalion of engineers, to San Francisco about July 15, where they will report by telegraph to the military secretary for further orders: Capt. Charles Keller, Capt. Spencer Cosby, First Lieutenant E. M. Adams, First Lieutenant H. L. Wigore, First Lieutenant William P. Stokey, First Lieutenant John H. Poole, First Lieutenant Henry C. Jewett.

This item was in several newspapers in newspapers.com. I chose this particular one because it gave the ranks of the officers in question, which not all of them did. The Stokeys must have seen the notice somewhere (I think they would have been desperately looking for it) since Alma wrote to Will in May:We had learned several weeks before we got your last letter that you would not sail until July 15th.
