Was this a book or an article in The Ohio State University Bulletin? It's not clear to me, and I don't much care. Another thing I don't much care about is the fact that it was published in 1923, seven years after the death of Papa Charles, where he has no right to intrude into my story. I am making the executive decision to date this document in October 1882, when Papa Charles became the Government Weather Observer for Canton.
A Climatological History of Ohio by William Henry Alexander. Published by The Engineering Experiment Station of The Ohio State University, Columbus Ohio.
