The situation made vacant by the resignation of Mr. Stokey as principal of the irregular department, is to be filled by the appointment of Mr. G. W. Yohe of Waynesburg. Mr. Yohe has been principal of the Waynesburg public schools for five years.

Papa Charles's resignation must be because he was going to Chagrin Falls. See: he came to Canton in 1877 to take charge of the special department of the public schools. While here he was elected superintendent of schools at Chagrin Falls, where he served one year.
